Who we are
The Bond Experts is operated by Signature Insurance, a licensed insurance agency at 525 Darby Creek Rd, Unit 29, Lexington, KY 40509. Reach us at [email protected] or 859-407-4888. Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM EST.
What we collect
When you submit our quote form, we collect:
- Your name, business name, phone, and email
- The bond type, amount, state, and obligee you need
- Any project or license details you share with us
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, country) for security and to detect abuse
What we do with it
We use your information solely to:
- Pull a surety bond quote on your behalf from our underwriting carriers
- Contact you about your quote and any follow-up questions
- Service the bond after issuance (renewals, claims, endorsements)
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketers, lead-aggregators, or third-party companies unrelated to writing your bond.
Who sees your information
Your data is shared only with:
- Surety underwriters we submit your application to (so they can quote your bond)
- Service providers we use to operate the site (Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for email delivery) — these providers process data on our behalf under standard data-processing agreements
- Government agencies when required by law
Cookies and analytics
This site uses minimal cookies — essentially a session cookie for security and Cloudflare's standard performance/security cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this page and offer an opt-out.
Your rights
You may:
- Ask us what information we have about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your information (subject to recordkeeping requirements for insurance regulators)
- Opt out of any future marketing emails (we don't currently send marketing emails)

Security
The site runs on Cloudflare's edge with HTTPS-only access, modern security headers (HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options), and DDoS protection. Form data is sent over TLS to our backend and immediately emailed to a single mailbox at signatureinsuranceky.com. We do not store form submissions in a database on this site.
State-specific notices
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.
Virginia residents (VCDPA): Same protections as CCPA above.
Changes
We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
